Quick Review - Four on the Floor by Old Blind Dogs

Old Blind Dogs - Four on the FloorThis album is amazing. I’ve always been a fan of Old Blind Dogs, and this new album is a newer sound for them, one of the band members having left the group after the last album, Gab O’ Mey. The sound is smoother and simpler, and their treatment of previous songs done by earlier versions of the band really illustrate how well the new quartet is working together. My two favorite tracks on here are old and new; Bonnie Earl is a new version of The Bonnie Earl o’ Moray from their 1997 album Legacy, and Cairn o’ Mount is new for the band. Exceedingly well done album, and it gets a 10/10 from me.

Great album, but I think that my favorite was Bedlam Boys or Gaelic Song.
